Nice eulogy.
I note that some effort seems to be being made to assure us that HST had personal problems and health issues that lead to his suicide, and that despair over the current political and social reality of America didn't play a role in his decision to kill himself.
I dunno. I have trouble buying that. Seems more likely to me that he personally needed to take a pass on the upcoming gruesome episodes in the horrific reality show that is contemporary America, and felt that suicide was the only certain way for him to do this.
Dunno. But I share your sadness and sense of loss.

Who could really write about how bad Bush is or what the gropenator is all about?
Today's stories write themselves,
Hunter got 'out-uglied'. He could always one-up Nixon and take the attention and focus heat back onto the beast with laser aim accuracy.
There is no spotlight today. No heat, only tax breaks.
Nothing to pardoy that doesn't so of its own volition.
One imagines middle finger extended, across trigger.
F 'em all!
Never rest in piece Duke,
comeback and haunt the hallways
of the empty house that is journalism today.
Howl at 'em like Ginsburg
with the kind of laugh that
knows what lies ahead
so the Shaman said...
Hunter? Yes son? I want to shoot you...
Mother? I want to....
all night long!
C'MON YEEEAAAAHHHHH!
This is the end...
...Beautiful friend...
